A very controversial topic of conversation at once is the concept of same-sex marriage and rather it should be effectiveized or not. By these couples being acknowledged as domestic partners they would be able to receive benefits and rights that married heterosexual couples receive. These benefits and rights come from both the couples employers and the government.
