When I was a small child, my dreams had changed almost daily. One twenty-four hour period it would be a police officer, a firefighter some other twenty-four hour period, and perhaps an astronaut the next day. Although one particular outcome changed the course of my life. This moment opened my eyes and made me go steady what I can do to truly make a difference in the world.
It was a humid summer day in north Minnesota. My family went up to
Visit my grandparents, who I had provided met three ms before. Every time we went to go turn over them, it was like I had never met them before. I was so young, round 6, and they were like strangers to me. My friends had always talked about their grandparents, but mine lived to a fault far away to ever really get to be them. My grandma was in her late fifties at the time and my grandpa was pushing 60. They were what you would have called exuberant when you saw them together. When I saw them, together they cope withmed inseparable; I did not see them apart. I looked at them as if they were strangers. I knew they were my grandparents, but I would stare at them in awe because I had seen them so little.



I had hoped to get to know them better as I grew up, and would talk to them every chance I got, and as I grew up over the years, I became very close to them, peculiarly my grandma. She would call us and I was excited to talk to her, because it had been so rare.
One day, I came home from school in sixth grade, just like any other day. It was routine, I had soccer, accordingly homework. Although, my mom didnt greet my brother and I as she usually did. She saw us, and had this look on her face as if she had seen a ghost. She called us over and sat us down. She patently express your grandma is with the angels now. I didnt know how to react. She said that she had a stroke, and they didnt help her in time, because in northern Minnesota, the closest hospital to her house was almost an hour away.
