Tikopia is an island in the south pacific persona of the Solomon Islands.



It is the southern most island in the Solomon group of islands. The environment is tropic the island is a high volcano surrounded by school coral reef. This makes fishing plentiful and the tropical environment allows for vivid vegetation. The Tikopian horticulture is very unique the kinship, social organization, gender relations, beliefs and values. This culture has changed in many ways and continues to change making this culture very unique.
Tikopia is a Chiefdom in which there are chiefs of the order based on their kinship. Tikopia is an island approximately six square miles and is do up of a high volcano.
