In 1793 and 1850, the transitory Slave gos were enacted making slavery prosper, as intumesce as being large contributions in the cause of polar abolitionist movements, and eventually the Civil War. Both of the Fugitive Slave Acts caused controversy throughout the states because of the harsh punishments and enforcement, particularly in the succor Fugitive Slave Act. Next, because of the two Fugitive Slave Acts, numerous abolitionists worked together to helped slaves escape from their punishment, especially the work of Harriet Tubman, William Still, and Thomas Garrett. Finally, the actions of the southern Slave states in their attempts to solidify slavery had sparked the bloodiest war in Americas history, the Civil War. In conclusion, the hunger for self-command of slaves caused destruction throughout the United States of America.
First off, both of the Fugitive Slave Acts had been created in 1793 and 1850, serving many different purposes. Though this law was applied in all of the states, the North had opposed it, so it was mostly cut thither, making it safer for slaves to escape to the Northern States. The South then know that more and more slaves were beginning to disappear if they had escaped to the North, so they demanded that more severe laws would be passed.
