The film The Power of One, directed by John G. Avildsen is concerned with the prejudice that existed in South Africa prior to, and during the apartheid era of the 1940s. It challenges the racial segregation of the white and mordant communities and illuminates the senseless destruction that arises from a lack of understanding.
